This section is dedicated to the larger plants, one of a kind, offered for sale. I will quote shipping prices separately…(remember, these are big plants and who knows how long they will sit on this page!!). Shipping rates are better the more plants that are ordered!!!

These plants are not on the catalog pages! Email me and tell me what you want or order other things from the catalog and add a note when you check out what large plants you want. I will get back to you with the shipping costs before confirming your order.

From time to time I will add to this page as smaller plants become larger and the larger plants become…well…even larger! Stay tuned.

H. anulata
This is a huge plant growing on an 18" bamboo hoop and dying for a good home!! H. anulata blooms are pink (please see the Photo Compendium for flowers) and the leaves of this plant take on a deep red when grown in high light.
$40.00-- SOLD!!!

H. australis ssp. tenuipes
The large, very glabrous leafed, H. australis growing on an 18" bamboo hoop. This ssp. of H. australis tends to bloom MORE and have bigger blooms than the other ssps…at least for me.
$35.00

H. australis X H. subcalva
With the generous blooming habits of the H. australis and the pinkish flowers with a dark center, this cultivar is a good strong grower producing fragrant flowers, often.
$35.00

H. bella
This is the variegated form of H. bella, with the dark margins and the cream insides of the leaves. Some of the vines have not totally turned variegated, so it looks as if there is some dark green H. bella growing in the pot - the contrast is stunning.
$40.00 -- SOLD!!!

H. camphorifolia
Long narrow strappy leaves - that turn coppery in bright light - this hoya's blooms are small but prolific with a lovely fragrance. A very strong and reliable grower/bloomer.
$40.00

H. fungi
This hoya is also sometimes called H. carnosa from Vietnam. It is definitely related to H. carnosa although the leaves have a very attractive subtle venation and the flowers are white. It enjoys the same care and handling as H. carnosa - enjoying cooler temps, less light, and growing a bit dry. This is an excellent hoya for an airconditioned office, with lowish light.
$50.00-- SOLD!!!

H. pubicalyx 'Royal Hawaiian Purple'
Very similar to 'Red Buttons', however, the leaves are larger and the flower color is a deeper color than 'Red Buttons'. This is also an excellent choice for an office or an environment with airconditioning and low light.
$40.00-- SOLD!!!

H. sp. Biak
This is a very tidy small leafed hoya found in Biak – with a habit of blooming all year for me. I grow this hoya in very bright indirect light, give it water when it is dry and that is about all. The blooms are small, not fragrant but a happy a cheerful yellow and abundant. This hoya plant is not offered commercially and certainly not this size.
$50.00-- SOLD!!!

H. cominsii
Nearly 3 years old and tinged red with the high indirect light in my greenhouse, this hoya is generous of leaf and flower. It requires nothing special (no pickles and ice cream at 3a.m.!) but high indirect bright light, water when dry and a good fertilizer.
$50.00-- SOLD!!!

H. sp. Kunming Kina
This hoya I received as a cutting indirectly from the person who brought it back from China (Kina). It is a handsome plant, with long narrow sturdy leaves, a polite growing rate and gorgeous large very fragrant white blossoms covering the plant during the flowering season. This hoya is NOT widely in circulation and certainly not this size.
$60.00-- SOLD!!!

H. pauciflora
Hoya pauciflora (“Fewflowered”) blooms white flowers with deep red centers (coronas) often just one or two to an umbel. The longish narrow leaves add a fernlike feeling amidst collections of broader leaves.
$50.00

H. archboldiana
This plant is over 5 years old, and is presently sporting 27 blooming or about to bloom umbels of pink flowers with red centers. The fragrance, at night predominantly, is a soft spicey sweet smell which pleasingly permeates the air. Unblemished dark green leaves provide year round beauty. This hoya likes to grow dryish during the winter and I don’t provide it with abundant water until the days grow longer and the umbels begin to form.
$150.00-- SOLD!!!

That's all folks!!!
